Who is ApexMan for?


ApexMan is for adult men who are experiencing erectile dysfunction and/or hair loss and prefer to receive treatment from the comfort of their home.




Do I need a prescription to use ApexMan?


No, you do not need a prescription. The physicians on the Apex platform WILL write a prescription if they deem it safe and appropriate after your online visit.




What is ApexMan?


ApexMan is a healthcare company. We are a direct-to-consumer telehealth company that handles everything from putting you in touch with a healthcare professional to the convenient delivery of medication.




Does everyone have the chance to talk to a doctor?


Absolutely. After you complete your initial dynamic onboarding you can message a physician any time you have a question. Also, if you want to chat with the doctor via a secure phone call or video chat, message our medical support team and we’ll make it happen.





Telehealth

How quickly will a doctor review my initial history?


After your online visit a doctor will complete their initial review of your medical history within 24 hours. If you’ve been waiting longer than this, please email care@getapexman.com and we’ll take care of it.





Cost, Pricing & Services

How much does a doctor's visit cost?


In order to get a prescription from our physicians you will need to see a doctor in person. Your first visit will cost you R350.




How do I pause or cancel my orders?


Our deliveries come either Monthly or Quarterly (every 3 months) depending on what you choose during your Online assessment. If regular deliveries are not right for you, you can also switch to On-Demand deliveries after you receive your first order. Additionally, you can pause or delay individual deliveries.




Can I return my order?


Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of prescription products for reuse or resale, and all sales are final. However, if you feel we have made an error in the filling of your prescription, please contact us at care@apexman.com





Treatments

What are the side effects of Ciavor?


If present, side effects are usually mild and temporary. The most common side effects of Ciavor are headache, flushing, dyspepsia, nasal congestion, dizziness, nausea, hot flushes, vision changes (blurred vision, or blue colour tinge) Please read the patient information leaflet carefully for a full list of side effects and additional advice.




Why do I need to know my blood pressure to get an Erectile Dysfunction prescription?


Your blood pressure is an important part of determining whether it’s safe for you to take Erectile Dysfunction medication. It can be dangerous to take Erectile Dysfunction medication if your blood pressure is above or below a certain value. To complete a comprehensive medical history during your onboarding, you need to schedule time for an in person consult with one of our clinicians to get your blood pressure taken.




What are the side effects of Sildenafil?


The most common side effects are headache, indigestion, hot flushes, nausea, blurred vision and dizziness. Many men have no side effects at all or only rare mild ones.




Is Viagra effective?


According to the research 85% of men get the result they want from Viagra – a strong erection. Excellent news.




How effective is Ciavor?


Ciavor is known to be the faster and longer acting brother of Viagra. It can work within 30 mins compared with 1 hour with Viagra and its effects can last for 36 hours compared with 4 hours with Viagra. This of course, does not mean that you will have erections that won’t go away. It can allow you to achieve erections without having to plan your dosage timing in advance. You can take one pill on a Friday night and this drug could help you last over the weekend, hence why “The Weekend pill” nickname its been given.





NetcarePlus

What is NetcarePlus?


Apex Man has partnered with NetcarePlus to provide you with access to quality and affordable healthcare. The NetcarePlus GP voucher provides you with access to a private doctor consultation, at a time and location that is most convenient to you.




What does the consultation cover?


The consultation covers a General Practitioner consultation for erectile dysfunction and/or hairloss at a contracted NetcarePlus Partner only. All special investigations, consumables, procedures, and/or injectables are not included in the consultation.




Can I use my voucher at a hospital emergency facility?


No, the voucher may only be redeemed at a NetcarePlus Partner General Practitioner.
