Erectile dysfunction causes can be complex, solutions don’t have to be.

A lot needs to happen for you to get an erection. Your nervous system, cardiovascular system, and your penis itself, all need to work in perfect unity.

This means there is also plenty of opportunity for things to go wrong. From psychological factors such as PTSD, anxiety and stress, to physiological factors including high blood pressure, smoking and diabetes, the causes of erectile dysfunction can be both commonplace and complex.

Luckily, the solution to erectile dysfunction (ED) can be as simple as following two key steps: making healthier lifestyle choices and starting a personalised treatment plan, delivered for free to your door.

Apexman can help with the latter. We offer four different treatment options for erectile dysfunction and a team of specialised and regulated physicians who can help to create a personalised treatment plan that is right for you.

Rise up. No more excuses, just solutions.

Let ApexMan take care of it

After a brief online consultation, where you will answer a few questions about your medical history, one of our regulated clinicians will assess whether erectile medication is right for you. In addition to this you will need to go for a in person consult with one of our physicians. Once approved, the treatment will be delivered to your door for free, usually the next working day. Don’t worry it comes in discreet packaging.

The medication will start working within 30 minutes to an hour after you have taken a tablet. The benefits only become evident when you’re sexually aroused or stimulated. Foreplay is, and always will be, your friend.

Once you’re aroused, the medication helps the blood vessels to your penis stay relaxed and open, allowing for increased blood flow. This means a harder and longer-lasting erection, exactly when you need it.

What can I expect to happen when I take Viagra?

Taking Viagra won’t result in an instantaneous erection, meaning a little bit of planning is required. In most cases, Viagra starts working an hour after you take it, and the effects last for four to five hours. This means there’s a window of about three hours in which your erection should feel harder and last longer than before, and in which you can plan to have sex.

Viagra does not alter your libido or sexual desire — you’ll still need to be sexually aroused for it to take effect. And it doesn’t have any impact on your testosterone levels.

For those thinking of having sex after dinner, a word of note: having a large meal at the same time as taking Viagra can delay the effects by about an hour.

Can I take a dose of Viagra more than once in a day?

In short, no. The recommended starting dose for Viagra is 50mg taken only once per day, on the days you intend to have sex. Depending on your response, this can be changed, although the maximum dose is 100mg per day, still taken as one single dose.

If taking Viagra is proving difficult to coordinate with sexual activity, or if spontaneity is important to you, Ciavor may be a better alternative. It works similarly to Viagra, but it starts working within 30 minutes and its effects last up to 36 hours.

Is Viagra safe to use long term?

The results of a study looking at men using Viagra, as needed, over the course of four years suggest that it is perfectly safe and effective when used over a prolonged period of time.

In general, if you’re finding you need to take Viagra for ED over a long period, it’s worth looking at the underlying causes (with the help of your doctor).

What are the common side effects of Viagra?

While most users will not experience any unwanted side effects from Viagra, there are some commonly reported ones to be aware of. These include: - Headaches - Dizziness, feeling faint - Nasal congestion/stuffiness - Feeling hot or flushed, including facial flushing - Nausea - Indigestion - Visual changes (including colour changes, sensitivity to light and blurred vision) There are a number of other side effects you could experience when taking Viagra, and some prior medical conditions which might mean you should not take the medication. A complete list is available in the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) enclosed in your medication, which you should always read before taking it for the first time.

Does drinking alcohol make Viagra less effective?

Drinking alcohol causes a drop in blood pressure which, when erectile dysfunction is already present, can make it even more difficult to get or maintain an erection. It can also worsen some of Viagra’s side effects, such as headaches, dizziness and feeling faint.
